  • In this recorded professional learning session, Greta Dromgool from the Science Learning Hub and Adrienne De Melo and Ben Moorhouse from the Department of Conservation share the many learning opportunities available when investigating animal and plant pests. To support educators in developing their knowledge and skills, they:

    • introduce DOC resources investigating plant and animal pests
    • share engaging hands-on activities
    • scaffold an investigation into plant and animal pests.

Love the webinars and the DOC resources.

    Nature of science

This webinar supports teachers with the ‘Investigating in science’ strand by unpacking the processes involved in facilitating a science investigation. Teachers are supported to get their students outside collecting data and examining, critiquing and communicating their evidence. This process has the potential to create authentic opportunities for participation and contribution.

    Conservation webinar series

This is part of a series of webinars that we are holding with the Department of Conservation to showcase their wonderful new resources designed to connect students with the environment.
